ABOUT CUSTOM MAIDS HOUSE CLEANING SERVICES
How many Cleaners do you send into my house?
WE SEND ONE CLEANER ONLY.
We never send teams or crews of cleaners into your private home.
Whether you use our house cleaning services regularly or just occasionally, you’ll have your own cleaning person – someone familiar with you and your expectations of your cleaning service.
What are the qualifications of your Toronto House Cleaners?
Our house cleaning service staff is comprised largely of traditional cleaning ladies who have had many years of cleaning experience prior to joining CUSTOM MAIDS, and have been in positions of trust for most of their lives.
Notwithstanding their prior qualifications, all cleaning staff have completed CUSTOM MAIDS’ House Cleaning Service Training program before joining our staff. And, once employed, our standards are maintained through an ongoing program of training and supervision.
Why choose CUSTOM MAIDS over a private cleaning person for my House Cleaning Services?

ALL CUSTOM MAIDS HOUSE CLEANING SERVICE STAFF:
are vetted from a pool of some 2,000 candidates each year;
have completed CUSTOM MAIDS’ House Cleaning Service Training Program;
have undergone extensive background checks;
have been bonded by CUSTOM MAIDS;
are covered by Worker's Compensation (in the event of injury in your home);
are covered by Comprehensive Liability Insurance (in the event of damage);
are legally employable, and eligible for all benefits pursuant to legal employment (statutory holiday pay, vacation pay, employment insurance, etc).
You’re offered house cleaning services by an experienced and qualified cleaning person,
together with all the protections necessary to save you from exposure of every kind.
Do I need to use your house cleaning services on a regular, ongoing basis?
It’s entirely up to you how often you use our house cleaning services.
Many clients use the service regularly on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, basis.
Thousands of people use Custom Maids just occasionally (on an as-needed basis).
And others have us in only one-time.
Whatever your need, we’re here to accommodate.
On what days of the week may I schedule my House Cleaning Services?
And what time-of-day may I schedule?
Our Toronto House Cleaning Services our offered 7 days a week, Monday through Sunday.
Morning cleaning visits are scheduled for an arrival time of 8am to 8:30am.
Afternoon visits are scheduled for a 1pm to 2pm arrival.
House Cleanings exceeding 5 hours must be scheduled for morning arrival.
Depending on the location and size of your home,
we may be able to make slight adjustments to these arrival times.
How will my House Cleaner gain access to my home?
We’re happy to accommodate any entry arrangement that’s comfortable for you.
Many clients let in their cleaner before leaving for work. Some hide a key for their cleaner or
leave a key with a neighbour. Those in condos or apartments often leave a key with their concierge or security desk. And many clients deliver us a key at CUSTOM MAIDS’ Toronto office.
Just let us know an entry arrangement that will work for you and we’ll be happy to oblige.
If I provide Custom Maids with a key, will it be safe?
YES. YOUR KEY WILL BE VERY SECURE.
WHEN YOUR KEY IS RECEIVED BY THE CUSTOM MAIDS OFFICE :
Your key will be labelled with a reference number only ;
The name associated with your key’s reference number will be recorded separately in Custom Maids' encrypted database ;
Your key will be stored in the company vault ; and
When your key is needed for cleaning, it will be "signed out" and "signed back in" by your house cleaner.
What if I need to cancel a cleaning service after I’ve booked a house cleaning visit?
You’re always welcome to cancel a house cleaning visit.
We only ask that you contact CUSTOM MAIDS’ Toronto Office 48 business hours prior to the house cleaning visit (so we have the lead time necessary to ensure your house cleaner is booked elsewhere during your absence).
Does Custom Maids offer Move-In Cleaning Services and Move-Out Cleaning Services?
Yes, we do.
Our Toronto house cleaners are extensively trained in ‘Vacancy Cleaning Service’ procedures.

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?
Yes. Your House Cleaner will use your cleaning supplies.

What forms of payment does Custom Maids accept?
Custom Maids accepts only electronic payments :
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Visa Debit and MasterCard Debit
Prior to your first house cleaning visit, your credit card information will be taken by telephone and recorded in Custom Maids' encrypted database.
AFTER each cleaning service, your credit card will be charged. (We DO NOT process credit card payments in advance of your house cleaning service.)
Am I required to sign a contract to use your house cleaning services?
No. Our clients are under no contractual obligation to use our cleaning services.
Are your House Cleaning Services in Toronto completely Guaranteed?
YES, OUR SERVICE IS BACKED BY A 100% ABSOLUTE GUARANTEE OF SATISFACTION.
You have no reason to expect disappointment with Custom Maids.
