Finding great cleaners has always been one of the most important things we do.
Over the years, Custom Maids has screened tens of thousands of candidates, helping us develop a careful recruitment and vetting process. Most of the cleaners who join us already have years of housekeeping experience, but every cleaner must complete our training program before serving our clients.
Many members of our cleaning staff have been with us for 5, 10, 20, 30, even 40 years, and some have cared for the same clients for much of that time. That kind of continuity is something we’re very proud of.
Our goal is to give you all the advantages of having your own cleaning person, without the risks and responsibilities of hiring someone privately.
Every Custom Maids cleaner is an employee, not an independent contractor, and is carefully screened, background-checked, professionally trained and bonded. They are also covered by WSIB workplace injury protection and liability insurance in the event of accidental damage.
